Remote Phone Operator

Overview

Answering Specialists Inc. is a family-owned business that prides itself on being a flexible employer, delivering an atmosphere where people want to work instead of have to. Our phone operators are primarily fully remote; we also have desks available in our main office in Bonner's Ferry, Idaho.

Training & Wage

• Base wage of $15.00/hr with the opportunity to earn bonus pay each pay period.
• One-week training program (unpaid).
• Training days: Mon–Fri
• Training hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM PST (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST)
• $250 hiring bonus once a new hire reaches 120 worked hours (training hours excluded).

Duties

• Answer and direct incoming calls in a polite, professional manner
• Provide accurate information to clients while following client protocol
• Transfer calls to appropriate departments or individuals
• Take messages and relay them
• Follow phone etiquette guidelines to ensure positive customer experiences

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
